| CALGARY 20 Oct 2025 (PAB) – Today is Election Day and the final day voters can cast their ballot in the 2025 General Election. Voting stations will be open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Voters must vote at their designated voting station today. Voters can use the Where Do I Vote tool or the Voter Guide to find their designated voting station, or call 311 for assistance. A form of acceptable ID must be presented by the voter in order to cast their ballot. There are 261 Election Day voting stations, 73 more than in 2021. Additional voting stations are required due to population growth and to help manage the hand count of ballots, which starts after 8 p.m., or after all voters in line have had an opportunity to cast their ballots. All regular Election Day voting stations are accessible either by Calgary Transit, cycling, driving, or walking. Two hundred and sixty of the 261 stations are within 800m of a regular service transit stop and 90 per cent of registered electors are within a five-minute drive of their designated voting station. Unofficial and official results After ballots cast from each voting opportunity are hand counted by election officials, unofficial results are checked and required forms are completed. Then, unofficial results are entered into a system and posted to the unofficial results web page, as they become available. Elections Calgary anticipates that all unofficial results for mayor, councillors and public and separate school board trustees will be available the evening of Oct. 21, 2025.
